Nice quality typical of Circle y. Buttery leather needs a little breaking in and a little short another foot would be nice but other than that they are super nice.

So happy to have finally found a quality thick wool pad for my barrel saddle.

My mares are short backed and one has high withers and the other more mutten with wide back and fits both of them! So looks like I will have to get another one:) So many pads do not have a deep enough drop and this one does. Very nicely made with quality wear leathers!

I use this bit for my horse who tends to rush on the trail (more riding helped hugely, but has minimal whoa without getting antsy). She used to simply push through the bit and ignore my cues. In this bit, there's a bit more gag action than a jr. cowhorse, but still has nice balance. What I mean by that is it rotates smoothly when pressure is applied, so I can keep my hands nice and soft and not feel grabby or hard, where other bits with more gag action tend to feel "all-or-nothing" in terms of the mouth piece movement along the shanks.
