The Finntack Sweet Iron Snaffle Half Cheek Driving Bit is a great all around option for pleasure driving or harness racing.
Featuring a single-jointed mouthpiece enhanced with sweet iron for increase salivation and relaxation of the horse's jaw. Sweet iron bits oxidize over time and should be wiped dry after each use. This bit collapses on the horse's tongue when pressure is applied to the reins. The half cheek design assists in turning and inhibits the bit from sliding through the horse's mouth.
Features:
Care Instructions: Bits should be cleaned with hot water after each use. Dry bit with soft cloth. Metal polish may be used on cheek pieces. Sweet iron bits will oxidize with use.
