Courbette was established in 1976 to offer American riders access to premium European riding equipment. The dropped noseband was invented by The Spanish Riding School, and is still used there and many other classical institutions. The dropped position constricts the opening of the jaw as low down toward the mouth as you can get, and has been very popular with European trainers. This dropped noseband features plain raised leather with stainless steel buckles.
