Great pads, but you'll need to stitch 'stops' in the girth loops to keep the pad from slipping back under the saddle. They wash and dry well. I use them for foxhunting where I'll be on horseback 3 ½ to 5 hours, these pads seem to distribute weight well, and backs seem relatively cool.

good pad
Use for for hunting, where I'm in saddle 4-5 hours--distributes weight evenly over back of horse, the deeper cantle area of the pad keeps my hunt coat skirt clean. Washes well in warm water and dries quickly in dryer on lower heat setting. Slips backward under saddle after short time in saddle--I fixed that by sewing a stop on keeper for girth so pad stays forward.
