Pros: Excellent quality leather inside and out, High Spanish top, very grippy pebbled leather on inside of leg, elasticized panel gives perfect fit, zipper works well, good stiffness on outside panel for dressage, the patent leather is beautiful and has held up better than I expected (2 months so far)
Cons: I wish they would reinforce the elastic that goes under the boot; however, most manufacturers don't reinforce it.
Comments: I have owned (and bought and returned) many pairs of half chaps. These are the nicest, best fitting half chaps I've found. I love riding in them--excellent grip and support. I like them better than my more expensive show boots. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and fit for such a reasonable price. Very good value. I may buy a second pair to have onhand as replacements because I like these so much. I wore these with the patent paddock boots to a fun show and got a lot of compliments.
