Pros:
the footbed seems very warm and substantial - feels almost like a work boot. the suede and leather seem very high-quality, and the boot looks nice and slim from the side (as shown in the picture)
Cons:
the boot shaft is a bit thick - the cotton liner seems quilted, making for a "fat" look when viewed from the front or back - it makes my leg look wide from the front. there's too much room in the ankle, but this is a pull-on boot so I guess that's to be expected. ** I have very narrow calves and small ankles. Also - the foot bed seems so sturdy and heavy, might not allow for a good "feel" in the stirrup. but probably just fine for trails and easy hacking. Summary - it's a lot of boot, might not be suitable for a very petite person with small legs.
Comments:
I will see if I can have the boot shaft altered to fit more tightly in the ankle. for people with average sized legs these boots will probably fit great out of the box. they are attractive but not dainty. the quality seems outstanding and I can't wait to actually wear them!

Pros:
These boots are cute and warm! Right out of the box and on my legs I like them. The style is somewhat rugged so they are not super slimming to my leg but they do have insulated quilting for warmth so they can't be really slim. They are very easy to get on and off and not clunky like some winter boots I have.
Cons:
Wish they came in black, too.
Comments:
I almost ordered a wide but am glad I did not. They are easy to get on and off and I was able to tuck my jeans in although they will look better with riding pants.
