Excellent boot; breaking in quickly, great fit.

I bought these to replace paddock boots/half chaps for my schooling though they are very nice and would make great show boots. I’ve only worn them four times so far but they seem to be breaking in quickly and I hope to jump in them after a few more rides. My instructor has had them many times for her schooling, too, and says they wear well. The footbed and toe area in roomy (I have wide feet) and they come with strings to put on the zipper pulls so you don’t need one if you have trouble zipping them. I would definitely buy these again.

Outstanding, versatile boot for an even greater price

Hands down my favorite schooling boots to own. So sad they are slowing down production of this model. I can go from jumping to dressage seamlessly with this boots. They are elegant enough to look attractive in the show h/j and dressage ring, if kept for that use. I trot down the centerline in the Fiorentinas ;) They are so comfortable and actually improve my riding ability and equitation. Ive foxchased in this model as well. They are just such an amazing all around boot for the price and Ill be super sad to see them go. I literally wear these boots every day. I even run errands in them. Hey Mountain Horse, I'm an 8 1/2 Slim/Reg just so you know.

    like custom

I bought these boots in the summer. So it's been about 6 months and I ride in them about 4-5 days per week, 2 horses a day. I am an active, athletic rider and I do a lot of jumping and also trail work/XC. I am very pleased about how these fit, and I haven't had any problems with them holding up (fingers crossed). They do run a full size small compared to other brands. I don't have a lot of experience with high end boots so I can't compare, but I am a serious rider, and these are very attractive, comfortable, broke in easily and I am buying a second pair.

    Wanted to Like These

I'm a horse trainer so I wear my boots every day. I take decent care of them and have loved all the other Mountain Horse products I've ever purchased. These boots fell apart in four months of regular wear. They never really broke in either. Not worth buying since by the time they are comfortable, they'll probably be broken.
