Quality can't be beat. Sturdy. Definitely tall boots (at 5'2" I was grateful I went with the short boot, almost could have done a slightly shorter boot, it cuts JUST under my knees) but the quality is wonderful. I rode in them yesterday and I felt completely secure in the stirrups.

Cool Winter boots but check your sizing!

Great quality. I’ve worn it out this Winter twice already and they keep you super warm. The only thing is they do run smaller around the calf in the Short version vs the Regular in the same shoe size. Tried tried the Regular length in a 7 and they fit perfectly except for the height so ordered the same in Short. They are a bit snug around the back calf but I’m hoping they will stretch out after a few wears. Overall, good looking and warm boot.

January 4, 2019It was difficult to find this boot in a short calf. I am 5' 5" so am not particularly short. But the regular calf was far too tall. Pleased when I found these at HorseLoverZ. I live and ride in the mountains of Colorado plus have Raynaud's. These boots keep me toasty.

The Mountain Horse Active Winter Rider has a unique YKK Vislon side-fitted zipper that is strong and durable and provides easy entry/exit. Heat-insulating faux fur lining will keep feet and legs warm while the waterproof construction keeps feet dry up to the start of the zipper. The Extensia foot part has been tested to withstand one million flexes in 14 degree Fahrenheitweather. Dirt repellent tread zones on the sole enhance grip in the stirrup. Sturdy and durable YKK zipper for easy entry and exit. Built in steel shank for increased stability. Material: Duralon/Extensia. Insulation: Faux Fur.
