sizing is odd. I returned the boots because they did not fit. Return cost $27, so think about what you order.

December 3, 2020Be careful of SIZE. I have worn size 11 boots for decades and even replacement size 12 boots by this current supplier to Mountain Horse are far too small. Something wrong with their sizing because I owned size 11 of the same brand winter boots a few years ago and they were fine.....just wore out.

Perfect also for women with longer feet! My daughter wears a size 12 and the men’s 10.5 fit perfectly! They are narrow enough that they don’t look like men’s boots. She looks feminine and feels warm! (she’s 6.1 and her horse is 16.4 - so they are proportional and beautiful!)

The elastic insert in the leg is 50% stretchier than past Mountain Horse elastic, making for an even better fit. The boot has been tested to withstand one million flexes in 14 temperatures, while the steel shank continues to provide stability.
