Exciting new studies have shown that flying pests such as horseflies and common flies are not attracted to the zebra pattern. The way the light reflects off the black while not reflecting off the white confuses the flying pests and they choose to attack another animal instead. Set of 4 boots protect legs from flies and biting insects. Features 3 quick grip closures for custom fit and fleece edging for comfort. Zebra print.

These fly boots are huge and don’t fit my horse. They are nice looking and I’m glad I have a sewing machine to fix them.

These are too big for my Appaloosa despite being labeled horse sized. No sizing is listed on the package.

The girls love them. Helps out so much, keeps fly away and saves on spray.

Poor quality

They are inexpensive and in this case you get what you pay for. They tore and do not stay up.

Do not stay up!

I have bought many different brands and styles of fly boots because our mare wears them every day during the summer. Out of all the brands and styles I've purchased, these were the most disappointing. They won't stay up for even one afternoon despite tightening the straps and even turning them upside down. They did marginally better with the fuzzy part down by her hooves but still they're not worth the money.

Inexpensive, so thought Id give em a try.

Pros:Quick delivery, easy to put on. Cons:The mesh is NOT very durable. My horse is in that 10% bunch that flies really bother. She will still scratch her legs with her teeth and had holes in two of these boots within 15 minutes. I will probably go back to making my own out of commercial shade cloth and making them long enough to cover the knee. I have also had to cut the corners off the Velcro straps to prevent her from pulling on any tabs she is that good! She will rotate them around till the Velcro end is accessible. But, as I said, being in that 10% bunch, I will do what ever is needed to keep her comfortable and safe. I also use a homemade non-toxic fly repellent that I rub on her. Maybe she just has me wrapped around her little hoof.

Good buy

Pros: Those boots stay on and up
Cons: They run a little big but can be adjusted easily with the Velcro straps
