Weatherbeeta Comfitec Airflow Mesh Wraps

I got these on sale and so far they are ok. They seem to keep flies off, and have already washed well, however, be super careful to make sure you don’t have even a sliver of Velcro exposed because they will snag in the wash. They could be a better fit on my horse, i got the Full size, but wish they covered more in the coronet band and heel area. My horse is 16.3 and they fit much better in the front than on his hind legs. They seem to stay up all right, though I do readjust daily. He wears bell boots in front and again this seems to help with sagging and coverage. In the back, he is still getting some fly bites above the boot where it slips down and above the coronet where the mesh doesn’t reach. The attached photo, while not a flattering one of my horse, gives you some idea of where these sit on the leg and with bell boots. At this was prior to the daily adjustment so you can also get a good idea of how they stay in place. We’ve been using them for about a week. I’m going to give it a few more washes before I decide whether or not I would purchase these again. If I did it would be in a larger size.
