Good blankets

I’ve used these blankets for years. My old ones are about 8 years old and now need to be replaced. I’m not good about keeping them clean or put away when the season is done. So in my opinion these are some very durable blankets. However I would not use them if you live in a cold climate. They are more a rain sheet rather a cold winter blanket

Horrible fit

Well, I thought I was making a good deal because of the price but this blanket fit is very weird. It does not fit my easy to fit 3 year old. Very tight on the shoulder and bulky on the back. Return shipping would have been expensive so I thought to give it a try which I regret now. I am very disappointed with Kensington on this (love other blankets I have from them).

Ripped to shreds in 2 months

Comments: I should have known better, I'm pretty sure my horse takes a boxcutter to all of his blankets when I'm not looking (we have a fiberglass, interlocked fence, so he's not ripping it on that). Shires Stormcheetas are the only rugs that'll last him more than 2 seasons. This rug lasted 2 months, and he's not blanketed daily, and when he is his blankets still get rotated. If your horse doesn't roll a lot and practices with katanas this should be a great buy for you, otherwise stick with Shires.

Sixty years ago, Kensington offered its rendition of a Canvas Rug to the industry. Kensington went into the archives to retro-fit the original Canvas Rug to todays standards. Where the Original Canvas Rug was not waterproof, the Kens-I-Tech Rug is, and where the old Canvas would get heavier over time, the Kens-I-Tech will not. The Kens-i-Tech offers the desirable qualities of the Canvas rug, without any of the inherited problems. The Euro Cut, provides maximum coverage, with gussets to allow for more movement. This Rug is highly water resistant and breathable, with a toughas-nails outer shell. On the interior of the Rug you will find a thin Wool lining which; provides warmth, wicks moisture, and even keeps its insulating properties while wet, which is perfect for a sweaty horse.
