I've used these blankets before on lesson horses but never my personal horses, but I finally decided to change that after watching these blankets last upwards of 7 years. So far I'm very impressed by the quality, especially for the price! So far these are the best quality blankets that I have bought to date! Only time will tell how these blankets will hold up to my crazy herd!

I love our Tough-1 rain sheets and winter blankets. Not a rip or tear in them, no leaking or wet backs, ever. I have owned them for three years now. We don't have horrible winters, so they aren't on 24/7 the whole winter, usually average about a month or so per winter of wear. Highly recommend this brand. And, they fit great! No problems with twisting or having to readjust. They stay put.

After reading the bad review I had to write. I have bought MANY Tough-1 blankets (and sheets). They work great and hold up to super rough handling (by other horses). As for waterproof, its decent. I don't expect any blanket to be 100% water proof especially if a horse stays out 24/7. I have found that none of my horses are wet if they are wearing this blanket out in bad weather.

Absolutely a piece of garbage
I will NEVER buy another Tough-1 product again. This is not even CLOSE to being waterproof and it's only been on my gelding 25 days. I bought it brand new from this website and after a rain/snow mix storm he was completely drenched all the way through in this blanket. The other two horses in the same field with him were bone dry in theirs (not Tough-1 blankets). I am so unhappy with this blanket, horseloverz should offer refunds for defective products that don't live up to their promises. Do not waste your money on this blanket, invest in a better quality one for the well-being of your horse. Luckily we do a night check and my poor boy didn't have to spend the night in a soaking wet blanket. So much for a "rain" sheet that's "waterproof."
