Saratoga Horseworks Summer Turnout

Although this occurred years ago, I don't believe that there has been any change in the design of this flysheet. The front chest straps do not hold tight, they slip. They loosened enough that when my horse went to nip at a fly on her chest, her bottom jaw got caught under the strap... feeling caught, she backed up into a fence and then feeling trapped, she reared over backwards, crashing through the fence. When I contacted Saratoga Horse Works, they were unconcerned and advised me that I could double the chest straps through the buckles. When I mentioned that this was not listed in any of the literature included with the blanket, again, there was a lack of concern. I sent the damaged fly sheet back to the company, asking to be reimbursed, as the fly sheet was defective, dangerous and now damaged and useless. Never received any response. I had contacted the president of the company directly- Saratoga Horseworks, Michael Libertucci. I would not recommend this company, nor their products.
