January 28, 2021This is very nicely made but it is all nylon. My trainer looked at it and stated it was safer to buy an all leather Cavesson. So I returned this item because of that. But if you are wanting an all nylon padded cavesson it’s very nice.

Effective, runs big, some slippage

Great for my 5-year-old thoroughbred gelding for lunging. The Full size is a bit big on him (he's 17 hh with a slight head). When I clip the lunge to the middle nose ring, it tends to pull to the side. May need to punch more holes in the nylon with a nail. He seems really comfortable with the crown cushion and cavesson fleece.
