I love kool coat sheets. They are tough and work great to keep your horse from getting real muddy in spring and fall. (In peak summer heat they can get hot in these). After grooming and riding, with plans to ride the next day or two, this sheet keeps them clean enough that pre ride grooming is short and fast. (Keep in mind it’s not water proof, so not a good choice when raining, only after, when mud spots are mild to moderate. Also with extended wear, I like to add a chest protector, cause it has caused rubs on my arab’s shoulders when left on for a week). I have bought two of these sheets in the past 10 yrs (pretty darn durable even with multiple machine washings IMO), and both had the double chest straps. This last one I ordered as a gift for my niece has a single removable strap that feeds thru a reinforced slot at the chest. Never seen a front closer like it, and hope it works out ok for her. Not sure why the closure was changed, but the rest of it seems the same as previous kool coat sheets.
