Activated Filter Carbon is an economical filter carbon for use with tropical fish. The Activated Filter Carbon uses a special blend of highly activated carbon that removes colors, odors, and poisonous waste from fresh- or saltwater. To use, add cup for every 10 US gallons of aquarium water. Be sure to rinse to remove any dust before use. To refill the filter cartridge, be sure to follow the manufacturers instructions. The filter should be replaced after every three or four weeks as needed.
