The Reinsman Charmayne James Herculon Square Pad is designed with a Herculon top, along with a fleece bottom for plush comfort against the horse. This colorful Herculon saddle pad is lightweight with 1/2" orthopedic felt inside to absorb shock. In addition, a futurity front for wither relief, as well as a contoured shape to fit the shape of the horse’s back are designed.
Herculon is constructed from a fiber created in 1957 that resulted in a Nobel prize for its invention. At the time, it was considered a miracle breakthrough in the textile industry. Today, it continues to be one of the most widely used performance fibers in the world. Its lightweight non-absorbent construction is abrasion, stain and UV resistant, making it a perfect fit for saddle pads.
