Horseware's Rhino Original - The favorite check turnout!
Top of the line quality and design, Affordable price!
The Rhino Original Waterproof Turnout offers top of the line quality and design for an affordable price. Classic good looks and a beautiful Navy/Tan check make this attractive turnout one that you will enjoy for years to come. The Rhino Original has a durable outer shell of 1000 Denier Polypropylene and a coat polishing polyester lining. The tough Polyproylene is 50 to 100% stronger than the coated Polyester used in the majority of turnouts. Should the outer layer become damaged the inner waterproof and breathable barrier remains intact because the AquaTrans coating is applied ot the barrier layer not the outer layer. Below the waterproof barrier is the Thermobonded fiberfill which retains extra loft, keeping your horse warmer longer. Horseware's Rhino Original features our patented Front Leg Arches, Classic-Cut, no slip design with belly surcingles and tail strap to keep this durable and well fit turnout in place. We understand the horse's physique so well that our unique cuts and designs allow the blanket to correct itself even after a horse lays down and rolls. Horseware's Patented Front Leg Arch allows freedom of forward motion as it prevents extra fabric from gathering around your horse's legs as he moves. A matching neck hood is available.

Fitting Your Horse's Blanket
The fit of your blanket is extremely important to the comfort of your horse. An improperly fitted blanket can cause rubbing and slippage. To find out what size Rhino blanket your horse needs, measure the distance from the center of the chest to the center of the tail. Horseware Rhino blankets are sized in three-inch increments, so you will need to choose the closest size available. If you measure between sizes, we recommend that you round up.
Care Of Your Horse's Blanket
To keep your blanket as comfortable as possible for your horse and to maximize the blanket's life, we recommend that you clean your blanket annually. First, remove excess dirt from the outside of the blanket with a brush and hose. The blanket can then be washed either by hand, or on a delicate cycle with cool water in a commercial washer. Use only very mild soap. Horseware recommends Rambo Rug Wash, an environmentally friendly product for use on synthetic fabrics. Rambo Rug Wash will effectively remove dirt without damaging the waterproof coating. When the blanket has been washed, allow to drip dry and ensure that the blanket is thoroughly dry before storage. Do not put your horse's blanket in the dryer or wash with hot water. Do not store your horse's blanket if damp or wet. This will damage the waterproof coating and void any warranties. In the unlikely event that your horse blanket should become nicked or damaged due to horse abuse Horseware recommends Rambo Stormsure or the Rambo Blanket Repair Kit to contain and waterproof the nicks that your blanket may incur through the years.
