We use this bit for very broke, older horses that need a little extra bite. This is a heavier bit, which helps the horse to carry themselves, but with a shorter shank to help balance the bite out. The decorated shanks are sure to stand out in the show pen. Port: 3, Mouth: 5, Cheek: 7
At all of the events we need our horses to be very responsive to the bit, but not afraid of it and thats what these bits do. Each bit is very workable and suitable for a variety of horses.
