These boots are exactly what I was looking for, but I decided to size up from my usual 9 to a 9.5 wide. I'm really glad I sized up because the 9.5 wide fit perfectly with socks on. Other than needing to size up these boots are beautiful and appear to be well made. I'm excited for winter now!
