January 16, 2018The quality of the boot is fantastic but for boots like this i would expect them to fit tight around the ankle and instead they were very baggy and then the calf runs small. I never have a problem with boots fitting around my calf's and this coudlnt come close. I will have to reluctantly return them.

I always wear Ariats for riding, the comfort and durability is unmatched for the price. But I really love to wear equestrian style boots with dresses and jeans. I have a pair of Westchesters that I often wear as fashion boots, but they are true riding boots and tend to become painful after long hours on my feet. The Pamplona is the boot of my dreams. True equestrian look, but in a fashion boot. They are beyond comfortable and the leather is beautiful. I have worn them every day since I got them and other than a very short break-in period, they have not hurt at all. They do run a bit narrow, but due to the quality of the leather, they soften and stretch quickly. I've received soooo many compliments about them. They are a bit pricey, but worth every penny. I got the black, I will be buying them in brown as well. Definitely my favorite boots ever.
