January 16, 2018I'm between 5'3" or 5'4" with average sized calves and the short height regular calf fit perfectly. I am still breaking them in but so far they feel fine. My old tall boots were also Ariats so I expect these to drop a little after a while. The leather is supple and the quality is nice. The square toe is very subtle so it doesn't make your feet look weird/extra long - makes you look sharp! My friend has been an owner of the cognac ones for a few years and they look like they're holding up quite nicely. Highly recommend if you want a pair of great boots without breaking your bank!
