I love tuffrider boots despite the fact that they only hold up for a season. They aren't meant to be crazy warm like my ariat extreme insulated boots, but I prefer them for winter riding because I HATE riding in the huge clunky winter paddock boots that I use for chores and really cold temperatures. I bought these so they could fit in the half chaps that actually fit my leg since my Ariat's require a larger chap to fit over the shoe. They also dont cut into my shin/top of my foot like many other winter boots do. The only negative thing is that the boots run small and I am a size 10.5 normally but my ariats are 10's and fit a large sock, where as the 10 tuffriders are tight with a thin sock. I am disappointed that they don't carry 11's.
