I love these for my miniature donkey. They're tall enough to cover more of his leg and they're definitely wide enough to wrap around. I've not found them to drop down very much and my guy wears them 24/7 in the summer. They don't rub him either and they're very breathable. They last all summer and I buy a new pair each year and use the old ones as spares.
It's also great that they come in packs of 4 boots.
