Each mane and tail band holds 2 replaceable inserts and is approximately 7" x 2". To attach, secure asection of mane or tail with elastic. Slide string loop of Mane and Tail Band through middle of hair section ABOVE elastic. Insert Mane and Tail Band through its string loop, then pull band down and cinch snugly. Fasten backside velcro attachment around mane/tail at bottom of band for added security. Open insert pouch and place insert into Fly Armor customized gear pocket. Can also be attached to almost any surface for insect control. Even can be used on humans!

It is recommended that Fly Armor gear be removed when bathing your horse as shampoo can contaminate the inserts and may reduce the life of the product. Replace the inserts when they lose their effectiveness.
