The Bucas Sweet Itch Zebra Full Neck Sheet helps prevent sweet itch. Sweet Itch is a condition caused by an allergic reaction to the bite of Culicoides midges, usually resulting in lesions on the topline, mane, tail and abdomen. Hypersensitive horses and ponies can cause further damage by rubbing the irritated areas. The Sweet Itch Zebra Sheet has a specially developed fabric that prevents even the smallest midges from biting, with the added protection of the zebra stripes against other biting insects. The full neck is not removable. This design is a full body cover, with a neck that reaches to the ears covering the whole mane area. An elasticated, detachable belly flap covers from the elbow to the sheath, offering protection to the horses whole body.
