Designed to be used when setting up a new aquarium. Blend of natural and synthetic ion-exchange resins that selectively remove ammonia, nitrities, and nitrates. Remove pouch from package. Do not open pouch. Rinse with water to remove any dust. Place directly in filtration basket. Recharge every one to three months, depending on water quality.
