Pros: Well made, excellent finish, convenient switch, seats large 100W bulb. Compliments any decor.
Cons: For only $9.98 what's not to like?
Comments: Works well for bulbs with flat faces/reflectors such as spot or flood lights. Would not recommend for use with standard bulbs (round incandescents/LEDs) or any CFL as the aluminum dome is not that efficient at projecting light downwards so a lot gets wasted inside (though of course still better than running a bare bulb, duh.) For example, an 8W 500 lumen PAR20 with a 40 beam pattern will outshine even a 16W 1600 lumen standard round LED installed in the Zoo Med. And you can go higher too; up to a PAR38 will fit inside the Mini Deep Dome. So go on and blind that chameleon! ;-)
