For $33, I wasn't expecting the creme de la creme... for the price, I would say it is pretty good. The leather quality is ok, but the brass will probably be tarnished by the time it gets to you-- as I have ordered two products (from separate tack makers) from Horseloverz, that have been sent to me with tarnished brass. You will want to buy some brasso! The least favorable thing about this bridle, are the reins! They quite frankly, suck. They aren't your usual super flexible and awesome rubber reins. The rubber part is stiff and doesn't like to be held in the normal english style. The leather and rubber quality is fine on them, but the sewing on the reins and a few other leather bits look obviously cheaply made. Not a fan of the reins, but luckily I have others. Also, when you go to oil this set, the dye will bleed. I wasn't bothered by it-- but just a heads up to other buyers! If this bridle hadn't had brass on it, I would have never bought something made by Silverfox. Silverfox is notorious for the lowest grade tack! I think after some brasso and oil, the bridle will be fine. The reins-- I wouldn't bother with. My other comment is that it took a while to ship. It wasn't shipped until about a week after I had place the order-- and then after that it took a little over a week to get; which is a lot longer than anything I have ever ordered anywhere else for tack. I wasn't overly infuriated, but it was a little annoying. Overall, my experience with this bridle gets 3 stars. If you are looking for a good, affordable bridle, don't hesitate! Just buy some brasso and reins and you should be good to go! And know that it might take about 11-14 days after you place the order to get it.
