Weaver Sloped Aluminum Stirrups with Leather

Disappointed in product. Weaver used to be a reputable brand, but I guess another good company has sold out to cheap products. Leather was poor quality comparable to cardboard. It was also a hideous peach/pink color. Luckily, I had some neatsfoot oil laying around to darken and soften the leather. The aluminum was also banged up and had sharp edges along both sides that had to get smoothed backed out. Not sure if that was a manufacturer defect or handling/shipping issue but it is disappointing regardless. Still a useable set of stirrups so I give 2 stars, but after this, I’m done buying Weaver brand. Unless the price drops under $50 you’re better off spending your money elsewhere.
