Anti-Bite Gel protects manes, tails, wood, metal, plastic, and bandages from chewing with active ingredient Bitrex, a harmless but effective chewing deterrent. The active ingredient , Capsaicin, is an alkaloid found naturally in various types of chili peppers. It creates heat or spiciness which most horses find repelling. Double concentrated for reliable effect and offers long term protection without staining or discoloring. Anti-Bite Gel does not enter the respiratory system as the active ingredients are bound in the gel.
