T3 Matrix Ergonomic Half Pad with WoolBack - No Inserts

The T3 Matrix Ergonomic Half Pad is designed to protect and support your horse's back muscles without interfering with performance. The spine has a Velcro opening to add Impact Protection Inserts (see below). The elongated front of the half pad extends over the shoulder muscle instead of bisecting as a traditional half pad does; thus, it allows the muscle freer range of motion. The top is a linear quilt of ETC and high quality, breathable batting. ETC is a breathable, non-slip fabric that keeps your saddle securely positioned, but is also anti-friction to avoid heat buildup. Typical non-slip materials like rubber scrims use friction for grip which creates heat and can lead to galling. The linear quilt maintains the batting loft for maximum breathability and heat dispersal.

Woolback fleece is machine washable 100% virgin wool specifically formulated for the rigors of equestrian use. This 1" fleece excels at moisture management, absorbing and wicking up to 30% of its own weight in moisture. It offers superior pressure relief, distributes weight more evenly and allows heat dispersal and breathability. The pile is resilient and rebounds after every washing. Machine washable, dryer safe.
