Matrix T3 Traditional WoolBack Half Pad

The T3 Matrix Traditional Half Pad is designed to protect and support your horse's back muscles without interfering with performance. The spine has a Velcro opening to add Impact Protection Inserts (see below). The shape of the half pad follows the contour of the saddle (for a more ergonomic desig, see the Matrix Ergonomic Half Pad). The top is a linear quilt of ETC(TM) and high qualit, breathable batting. ETC(TM) is a breathabl, non-slip fabric that keeps your saddle securely positione, but is also anti-friction to avoid heat buildup. Typical non-slip materials like rubber scrims use friction for grip which creates heat and can lead to galling. The linear quilt maintains the batting loft for maximum breathability and heat dispersal. Woolback(R) fleece is machine washable 100% virgin wool specifically formulated for the rigors of equestrian use. This 1" fleece excels at moisture managemen, absorbing and wicking up to 30% of its own weight in moisture. It offers superior pressure relie, distributes weight more evenly and allows heat dispersal and breathability. The pile is resilient and rebounds after every washing. Machine washabl, dryer safe.
