The Diamond R 3/8" Medium Copper Twisted Loose Ring Snaffle Bit has a 5" mouth and 3" rings. The twisted snaffle helps not only to educate a young horse, but also to help keep an older horse light in the mouth. The loose ring snaffle applies pressure to the bars and corners of mouth for direct pressure which makes it ideal to ride two-handed. The mouthpiece is made of copper which causes the horse to salivate to keep his mouth soft and supple to the rider. Copper is a soft metal check for signs of wear before each use.
