Dee ring applies pressure to the horse's cheek on the opposite side of the face from the rein you pull for better flexion; will not pinch. Copper inlay sweet iron snaffle makes it a perfect bit for training colts or riding any well bitted horse. Sweet iron and copper cause the horse to salivate for a nice, supple mouth. Copper is a soft metal, watch for excessive wear.
